Girls’ Room kickin some BUTT
Also this picture of all of us is just really cute.
Last weekend was a big weekend for me. First, the long-awaited Girls’ Room group show opening took place Friday at Le Snoot! Thanks to everyone who came out to support us, we had such a good turn out with fun-filled people!

Saturday was the 37th Annual SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival. I’m getting sentimental (and excited) about my last few weeks here at SCAD, so I decided to chalk up a simple image of a bee ready to graduate:

Until next time!

Updates!
The Girls’ Room at Le Snoot is ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!
Danielle Carey made this awesome avatar for me and the other ladies to promote the show!
Apart from the fabulous art work by 8 fabulous ladies, there will be free hot dogs, a caption contest, and cootie catchers.
We are also selling a companion zine, boob pins made by our own Zoë Lotus, and I’m selling editions of my screen prints.
I hope to see you all there!
In other news I got a vine. My vine updates will be all personal, so expect lots of updates from my first grade class and definitely a lot of food.
Let me know your user name so I can follow you!
I am fortunate enough to be in a group show about women, by women, with 7 other amazing female illustrators. It’s coming up on April 26th at Gallery Le Snoot in Savannah, GA. Each lady in this group has a completely different style, but we all compliment each other so well! If you’re in Savannah, come check it out! There will be free hot dogs and free fun!

*It’s my 22nd birthday today, consider a reblog a birthday gift ;)
Savannah is absolutely freezing today. On my way to the library this morning I had to stop half way to get a coffee and draw a comic to warm me up.
Super List Saturday! - 8 Reasons to Visit Savannah, GA.
My best friend Hannah is visiting me here in Savannah this weekend! I was excited so I decided to draw up my favorite things about the city for Super List Saturday.
Enjoy, y’all!
This sketch showed the water falling at Fontaine de Vaucluse. I quite like the way the water came out. The water was incredibly clear, and the blue-green colour comes from the water plants beneath the surface.
I did this one with dip pen and ink, and Winsor-Newton watercolour. Their travel set (the one that comes with the water tube) is really quite handy.
(My hands were freezing when I did this, by the way).
RHIANNON! This is so gorgeous!!!!!!!!
This is my illu friend, Rhiannon, she’s been posting some beautiful sketches of Savannah and of Lacoste, France!
Did some watercolor painting around Bonaventure last week.
It’s so beautiful and quiet out there, perfect place to relax (if cemeteries don’t creep you out, that is). In the back of Bonaventure, where the older graves are, there is a nice view of the bluffs of the Wilmington River. When I was painting there were actually a few other students out there enjoying the weather and napping in the sunshine. hahah.
This spot also reminds me a lot of home, Northshore Lake Pontchartrain/Louisiana Gulf Areas.
It’s really nice :)
